About this track
System design rounds are open ended on purpose. You get a one-line prompt and forty-five minutes to turn it into requirements, an architecture, a data model, and a defense of every choice you made along the way.
This track builds that in order. You start with a framework for driving the conversation, then work through the concepts you need to recall instantly — non-functional requirements, network communication, data modeling, consistent hashing — and the building blocks you will reach for in almost every design.
The second half is practice. Each question is a complete walkthrough: requirements and scale estimates, a high-level design, the deep dives an interviewer pushes on, and the bottlenecks that show up once the numbers get large.
