Tell Me About Yourself

"Tell me about yourself" (TMAY) is a common opening in tech interviews. Recruiters, hiring managers, and behavioral interviewers all use it. A strong TMAY establishes level, narrative, and energy for what follows. A weak one forces the interviewer to dig you out of a chronological swamp.
